The choir had a great year with exciting successes. They performed well at the Wetaskiwin Music Festival at the end of March and were recommended for the Provincial Music Festival in Edmonton on May 8th. The Provincial Music Festival consisted of 100 voice choirs, often in full uniform, some from private academies with choral classes during the school day. It is always a great chance to listen to and learn from high caliber choirs. Therefore, we were delighted when we surprisingly tied for second at the Provincial Music Festival with a mark of 92. The Norwood Choir performed to the best of their ability and made Norwood proud!

Choir has started for the 2009-2010 School Year. The choir meets weekly on Wednesdays at 12:35 until 1:15. Once again there has been an excellent turn out to work with Mrs. Gusdal and Miss Wyllie.
